EYFS supports the five outcomes set out in Every Child Matters:
- Staying Safe
- Being Healthy
- Enjoying and Achieving
- Making a positive contribution
- Achieving economic well-being
Physical activity is an important component in the development of any child during their early years.
Hipswell Village Kindergarten will instill the value of physical activity in your child which will serve them well during their later years.
We will bring your children into the great outdoors whatever the weather, but we’ll make sure they are dressed for the occasion of course! Outdoor activities are not just limited to once a day and we will take them out in the morning and afternoon.
Your child will undertake activities that consider both their individual and group needs. We take a keen interest in the child care of all the children when outdoors, fulfilling both fun and educational requirements.
Children staying at our day nursery are placed into one of four rooms depending upon their age. It is crucial that children get to interact with and learn among others of a similar age during their early years. Each room has been specifically designed to reflect the needs and interests of children from a specific age group.
Hipswell Village Kindergarten has got you covered from 7.30am until 6pm every day - that’s nearly 11 hours of child care that we can assist you with each day!
The setting leaders are passionate, highly qualified and have a clear vision of quality. They strive to ensure that all staff focus on providing the best possible care and education for all children.
