Experience Counts

Hipswell Village Kindergarten is a privately owned nursery. The management team have extensive experience of working in early years in a wide variety of child care and educational settings.

The nursery has an experienced Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) and several Designated Child Protection Officers within the setting. The experience and knowledge of the management team has been of vital importance in accelerating the professional development of the staff.

Our Philosophy

We are proud to say that we base our philosophy on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You can take comfort from the fact that we are guided by a statutory framework that sets the standards for the learning, development and care of children from birth to five years of age. EYFS supports the five outcomes set out in Every Child Matters.

Education at the Heart

At Hipswell Village Kindergarten we value the importance of education and you can depend on our highly-trained team of staff to guide the development of your child during their early years.

We offer funded places to 2,3 and 4 year old children who are eligible for the universal 15 hours or the 30 hours extended entitlement.

The children have weekly sing and sign sessions and we aim to provide a fun and engaging education experience for your child.
